Write extracted assessments to YAML

Writes the assessments block read_assessments() reads and map_curriculum() maps. Paste it into the course's objectives file, or keep it as its own file and attach it:

Usage

write_assessments(x, file = NULL, drop_bonus = TRUE)

Arguments

x

Assessment object, or a list of them from extract_assessments().

file

Character: Path to write to. NULL returns the YAML as a character scalar.

drop_bonus

Logical: Whether to exclude items flagged as bonus or extra credit.

Value

The path written, invisibly; or the YAML, if file = NULL.

Details

course <- read_course("objectives.yaml", "assessments.yaml")

Bonus items are dropped by default, per plan/schema.md: they are not part of what the course requires, so counting them as coverage would overstate it. They were extracted and flagged rather than skipped, so drop_bonus = FALSE recovers them and the dropped count is always reported.
